It's Okay Monday

* I got this from another blogger, thanks Whispering Writer. (You might recall it from Glamour magazine).

Hey, it's okay...
  • To be flabbergasted by the things your child does or attempts to do. (My child is not a bad kid. NO!! Not at all. He's just a very adventurous, curious, complex, fearless, and some times too smart for his own good TODDLER!! Yesterday, he decided to climb the banister & rails instead of going up the stairs. He was half way up, when he realized he wasn't going anywhere because he was stuck in the rails.
He was half way up.
  • To get a little pi&$ed off when the hubby says, "WE need to clean the house today." (Because he knows damn well, the WE means ME, not US. If it's that bad for him to see, he can easily help out and pick up all the toys sprawled over the living room carpet or start loading the dish washer. It is Sunday).
  • To think the Esurance commercials are corny, but funny. (This one reminds me of my friend Mike).
  • To not understand a recipe when it says to "fold in the whipped topping." (Maybe it's because I don't bake).
