Toddler Talk Thursday- What toys & unusual toys are in your Toddler's toy box?

Week 32 of Toddler Talk Thursday! Where Family and Life in Las Vegas, Crazy about my Baybah, and My Life as a Sippy Cup Mom talk all things TODDLER!!

Crazy About My Baybah
This is my very first week of Toddler Talk Thursday. I found out about TTT a few weeks ago, but never got around to posting.

This week's topic is:
What items make up your toddler’s toybox? What do they like to play with that aren’t really toys?

Andres is 23 months old. He currently likes playing with: cars, trains, planes, blocks, books with cars, trains, and planes, his Toy Story 3 buggy (and the movie, which we've seen like 40 times), Little Einsteins, his play shopping basket (which he likes to sit inside of), play food & kitchen set.
This is toy basket #1, which is downstairs in the living room.

ALL these things take over the living room, his room, and play room upstairs. He has three toys baskets, one in each room. If we're downstairs and some of his favorites are upstairs, he'll bring them down or vice versa. (We just took down the baby gates and allow him to go up & down the stairs freely. He loves it).

The Non-toy items he likes to play with are, but not limited to: cell phones (ours and his "real" play ones), measuring cups, spoons, Tupperware, medicine droppers/syringes, hangers, shoes, digging through my purse and make-up case, and laundry baskets.

Some of the non-toy items I found in toy basket #1. The cell phones are his play ones.
Next week's topic idea: Favorite books & story time routines

** As I was typing this, he was "watching" Toy Story 3 and digging in my make-up bag, which was inside of my purse, and used my Lancome lip gloss to paint one of his toy cars. Sigh.**
